This drum fits the Howtek 6500-7500 and Grand model scanners. It is the larger sized drum of the two removable drums that is for the scanner.Purity of Aztek drums are maintained and maintained throughout the manufacturing process. There are many stages in which are very important which include filtering of the liquefied acrylics prior to forming for purity of the acrylic and consistency of the drum surface. The processes in which the drums are cured is very important to insure that all of the hardeners are released from the drum. These are two very important factors to the quality and durability of the drum. Our drums are purified to a 1 micron filter before formed and are slow cooled to insure that the acrylic of the drum hardens properly. We do not use off the shelf acrylic but rather make it from scratch. AZTEK
